In the midst of the uncertainty that is 2020, one thing we are certain of – God is still working. And if He is still working, that means that His church should still be working!

That’s why we are excited to share with you about Rocky Creek’s partnership with Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Fountain Inn.

We shared the info during worship a few weeks ago, but we are excited to share about the official relaunch of Cedar Grove this Sunday, August 16th. Bryce Staggs, who has served as a Rocky Creek pastoral resident, is leading the charge with this church. They are excited about reuniting and refocusing their efforts to reach that community.

What Can You Do?

1. Pray – Your prayers will go a long way in helping this church relaunch and make a difference in that community.
2. Visit – Their worship service is at 10:30 on Sunday morning. You could still worship at Rocky Creek at 9:00 or 5:00 and support Cedar Grove as they relaunch.
3. Invite – If you know people in the Fountain Inn/Woodruff area, invite them to see what God is doing in that church.
4. Help – In the weeks to come, we will share ways that you can tangibly help out at the church. We will have some projects to do, and they also need some people to help out leading worship or other functions even if it is just for a few months.

We will continue to give you updates, but at this time, please consider how you can be involved. Our prayer is that our church would help fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples that make other disciples, revitalizing congregations that revitalize other congregations, and plant churches that plant other churches. In the midst of this year, we thank God that we still get to be a part of what He is doing!
