One way the Janie Chapman State Missions Offering benefits the Kingdom as well as Rocky Creek, is through the Palmetto Collective.
The Palmetto Collective is a group of college Juniors and Seniors passionate about being missionary leaders for the Gospel. Through mentoring sessions, leadership retreats, Bible studies, and serving in mission opportunities around the world during school breaks, these students are discovering God’s mission in the world and in their lives. They come out of this program equipped and experienced and ready to serve as leaders for Jesus. The Palmetto Collective even helps to fund and send these students into the world to serve for their first two years after college.
You can learn more about The Palmetto Collective here.
The annual cost of the Palmetto Collective is $10,000 per student. Rocky Creek has benefitted from several of these students, and this year we want to be able to supply the funding for one student by collecting $10,000 for the Janie Chapman Missions Offering.
The following video from the 2021 Janie Chapman Offering explains the Palmetto Collective.

Your contribution to the Janie Chapman State Missions Offering can help us reach our goal of $10,000 by October 2. The goal represents the annual cost of supporting one college student in the Palmetto Collective. Rocky Creek has had a number of students to participate in Palmetto Collective over the past few years, and we have been blessed through this relationship. Consider what you would like to give for this important offering. You can give online, or mark your envelope or check with “Janie Chapman”.
During the week of September 11 – 18, you can pray for a number of State Mission opportunities. Click here to download a prayer guide
