The Missions Pastor is responsible for creating, managing, and executing the efforts of our church that evangelize, equip, and mobilize our members to make disciples in all corners of the world. This includes working with other pastors and through the ministers, teams, and committees responsible for missions and mobilization at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
In the area of missions, the Pastor will be responsible for building and nurturing new and existing relationships with missionaries, church planters, and mission organizations. The purpose of these relationships is to advance the kingdom of God by supporting the effort through prayer and giving and sending our members to serve.

Background
At our Fall Waypoint, we shared that David Williams would be transitioning out of his role as Missions Pastor and into a new role called “Ministry Pastor.” In his new role, David will oversee the growing care needs we have in our church and coordinate various ministry programs within our church.
Our church selected a Mission Pastor Search Team to oversee this process. Please pray for the team as they discern the Spirit’s leading in this process:
