Registration for the 2019 Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Season is underway. Boys and girls in K5 to 6th grade are invited to participate. All of the practices (one hour one day a week) and games (one hour on Saturday) will be held at Rocky Creek. The first practices will be the week of January 7 (one hour on either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday) and then teams will also have a practice on Saturday, January 12. The practices will continue during the week for the rest of the season and the games will be played on Saturdays, January 19 to March 9. We will conclude the season with a celebration on Sunday, March 10. The cost to participate is $75, and scholarships are available if needed.
Each participating child needs attend an evaluation night in order to get more information about the season, assess their skill level, and try on the right size uniform. Below are the evaluation times based on your last name. If you can’t attend your designated time please attend one of the other dates. It is important that you attend one of the three times.
- Tuesday, November 27 from 6:00-8:30pm (Last name A-F)
- Thursday, November 29 from 6:00-8:30pm (Last name G-O)
- Saturday, December 1 from 9:00am to noon (Last name P-Z)
