YOU CAN

Make an Impact

Rocky Creek works with local, national, and international partners to share Christ and build believers. Our strategy challenges each person who wants to be on mission at Rocky Creek to: Pray, Give and Go.

Pray

You can make an impact right where you are by faithfully praying for our team members on mission trips, our leaders, and our partners around the world.

Give

You can make an impact through faithful generosity. Your financial gifts allows Rocky Creek to reveal the love of God in our communities and around the world.

Go

Whether you’re ready to share the gospel locally or globally, throughout the year we have different opportunities to share your faith.

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. Everything has been created by Him and for Him. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.  God is the one living and true God.  He is infinite and perfect in holiness.  God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.

Genesis 1:1,26,27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 23:9, 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2-3;2 Corinthians 13:14;  Luke 3:21-22, 10:21-22; John 1:1-5; Isaiah 46:9-10; Romans 1:7; 1 Timothy 1:1-2, 2:5-6; Revelation 1:6

Holli Baker - Asia

  • Please continue to pray for our Muslim students that we are studying the Bible with. We have students from Oman, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia that we are studying the miracles of Jesus with. Please ask that Jesus would reveal Himself to them.
  • We are in need of another car. Would you pray with us that God provides the right one for us?

Berkeley Bagwell Gomez - Campus Outreach - San Diego, CA

  • Please pray for Emmy, Mandy, and Anna who have faithfully attended an investigative Bible study this quarter. We have been tackling common questions people have about Christianity. Please pray they surrender their lives to Christ soon.
  • I have recently reconnected with Rachel and Sophie, two girls on campus who have asked questions about Christianity. Please pray that God would guide our conversations.
  • We have two new staff girls this fall! Please pray for me as I prepare them to raise support and join our team!
  • We have a summer discipleship project coming up June 13-24. Please pray God would draw students to attend.

Lierte Soares Junior - New England Triad

  • It’s a new season with new people and God has started working in New England in a different way in the life of both of our churches. Even though we’re still facing the pandemic with new rules and things changing every week there is a new wave of people seeking God and being discipled to be baptized in both churches. I’m working hard in both congregations to prepare people for baptism.  That’s for sure the greatest thing for a pastor!
  • Pray for our  physical health & emotional health as we navigate through Covid-19 during the winter season we’re still using masks in MetroWest Boston but not in Vermont.
  • Pray for my family and I. It’s a great challenge to serve in New England through the winter
  • Pray for the month of March as we adjust to new restrictions & strategies to share Jesus during the pandemic.

Jacob - Eastern Europe

  • Pray for the Bible Study times I get to have with seekers, specifically for Strahinja (recently in John 18), Boris (recently in Mark 1), Abdul, Ray, Ibby, and Esad.  Ask God to open their minds to His Word and Will.

Pastor Honorato Paguay - Ecuador

  • The Mission in Biblian is in the midst of a 21 day fasting and prayer time. They will finish March 6. Join them in praying for the 20,000 lost people in their town and the opportunity to share the Gospel with them.
  • Pray that the Mission in Biblian would soon constitute into a strong church for the town.

Rebecca - Central Asia

  • A huge praise this month is that our school finally had our school building zoning application approved by the city! There are still several more paperwork steps that will probably take another 6 months to a year to complete before we can actually start building, but the zoning approval was a big step in the right direction!
  • Because one of our science teachers is having to leave at the start of March due to visa issues, I’ll be picking up an extra class. Pray that I’ll be able to stay on top of grading and planning as it’s a class I’ve never taught before. While the extra workload seems a bit daunting, I am excited about the group of students because I taught them last year and absolutely love them!
  • Pray for overall attitudes at and surrounding school. It’s been a rough year on the classroom front and most days at school seem more discouraging than encouraging. Pray that I would be able to focus on the good and not the frustrating things and that I would work at my job in such a way that honors my heavenly Father instead of getting caught up worrying about the opinions of the students and families.
  • At the end of March, I’m going to be able to meet a potential roommate for next year. Pray that even though it will most likely be a brief meeting we’d still be able to get a sense as to whether living together would be a good fit for both of us.

Greg Queen - IMB Church Mobilizer

  • I will be sharing with staff members from several churches about partnership through praying, giving and going. Pray that through our conversations, He will use me to inspire others to join Him in reaching the nations. That each person will recognize they have a significant part in taking the Gospel to the nations. That He will call out more laborers into the harvest fields.
  • Also, I will be attending the dedication services for the new Lottie Moon Chapel at FBC Cartersville (GA). This is Lottie Moon’s sending church! I will be sharing with the church words of gratitude but also about the influence of Lottie Moon in Southern Baptist life. Thanking God for this wonderful opportunity & praying I will communicate well how significant her life was (and is).
  • For the East Coast men’s conference in Rocky Mount, NC. I will be encouraging men to partner with us to reach the nations.
