Rocky Creek Students

Rocky Creek Students is a relationship-rich, discipleship-centric ministry built around intentional Gospel Groups, weekly gatherings, and yearly events and trips. Our leaders are passionate about walking with your students as they wrestle with what it means to  follow Jesus and also work towards making disciples who take personal responsibility for Kingdom activity.

Weekly Activities

Sundays

On Sundays, students meet in our 3rd floor classrooms for Gospel Group. We don’t want to dumb down or sugarcoat the gospel for students. We prioritize interactive elements in the group time to keep their attention and to focus on spiritual growth.

Midweek

Students in 6-12th graders join together for fellowship, worship, and Bible teaching. Over the course of a year, students engage in Bible study that addresses needs in the life of the teenager: assurance of salvation, friendships, dating, family, temptation, Christian worldview, spiritual disciplines, and call to ministry both now and in their future vocations.

Resources

Milestones

Milestones is a book for parents. There are markers along the path that serve as celebrations as your child progresses in a faith walk, and this book guides the parent in that journey. This resource suggests milestone markers and focuses on missions, ministry, discipleship, and worship.

My Spiritual Milestones

My Spiritual Milestones is the child’s journal. This resource provides a place for families to journal stories of your child’s faith development. The book also gives parents of teens help in addressing purity, cell phones, and driving.

Serve with Rocky Creek Students

Student ministry leaders walk with students as they begin to own their own faith apart from their parents. Serving in our family ministry requires a nationwide background check, a membership with RC for at least six months prior to serving, and another adult leader working alongside you. We take seriously our responsibility to protect our students.
