Today in the Bible Reading Plan we start reading the book of Numbers.  Over the next couple of weeks we will read through this book and see how God moved His chosen people to the edge of the Promised Land.  It’s a tale of two generations and how the nation of Israel “had to go through the painful process of testing and maturation.”  Go had to teach His people the consequences of irresponsible decisions, and they spent 40 years in the wilderness.
