The Rocky Creek Bible Reading Plan has us starting 2 Samuel today.  This books picks up where 1 Samuel left off, and we will continue to learn about the life of David. Saul and his son Jonathan have died and David becomes king.  Second Samuel looks at some of the successes and failures of David and is a reminder to us to not become distracted in following God.  Sin has great consequences.
