We are not 100% sure when the book of Ecclesiastes was written or who wrote the book.  However, God has some very important lessons for us to learn in the book.  Life is full of enigmas and there are many things to pursue in life, but without God none of these other things will satisfy.  The conclusion of the book is “The end of the matter; all has been heard.  Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.  For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)
