Today, for the Rocky Creek Bible Reading Plan (Dec 2019 – Feb 2020) we will begin reading the book of Lamentations.  Although Jeremiah isn’t named in the book as the author, there is strong evidence that he wrote this boo.  He describes the funeral of a city as Jerusalem has been reduced to rubble by the invading Babylonians.  Even though this is a dark time in the history of God’s people, there is also hope because of God’s faithfulness and love.  If you find yourself in a difficult spot, focus upon God and rest in Him.
