Today, we will read part of the book of Ezra (1-3) for our Gospel Groups during the week of January 12.  Also, on January 17 for the Rocky Creek Bible Reading Plan (Dec 2019 – Feb 2020) we will start reading the book of Ezra.  We will read part of this book and then look at a couple other prophets and the book of Esther before completing Ezra and Nehemiah.  In Ezra we’ll see how Zurubbabel led an effort to rebuild the temple and Ezra led an effort to teach the Torah and rebuild the community.  However, not everything goes smoothly.
