Today, for the Rocky Creek Bible Reading Plan (Dec 2019 – Feb 2020) we will be reading the book of Haggai.  This is the second shortest book in the OT (Obadiah is shortest), and the prophet encourages the rebuilding of the temple and reordering of spiritual priorities.  “By means of messages from the Lord, Haggai exhorted the people to renew their efforts to build the house of the Lord.”  The people should focus on the temple and not their own fancy houses.  As you read consider these questions: Is your focus on the Lord and seeking His presence?  Are you seeking obedience and humility?  Are you making wise choices?
