Today, for the Rocky Creek Bible Reading Plan (Dec 2019 – Feb 2020) we will be reading the book of Joel. The theme of Joel is the Day of the Lord.  This prophet uses the illustration of locust devastation to describe God’s future judgment during the Day of the Lord.  However, although God judges sin, there is hope for those who repent.

He also quotes from many other biblical books, which suggests that he has read these.  May we be similar students of the Word this year.
