I am so grateful for the time we have spent in the Book of Titus.

On Sunday, I will preach the 8th sermon in the series from this book.  I do pray that it has helped you grow in knowledge, faith, and godliness.  It has done a work on me!

As we prepare for Sunday, I want to encourage you to do something.

Read the entire Book of Titus in one sitting.

The Importance

Why is this important?

  1. Read it the way it is supposed to be read.  This is a letter in the New Testament.  If you received a letter in the mail, you don’t read portions of it over the span of days or weeks  You digest the whole thing at one time.
  2. Remembering requires reviewing.  We have covered a lot of ground studying this book.  If you really want these biblical truths to stick with you, it is important to review them.
  3. It’s part of the whole.  Every believer should have a goal of reading through the entire Bible at some point in his or her life. This is 1 of 66 books that comprise the Bible.  Get started with this one!
  4. It prepares your heart for worship.  While I know that preparing a family to arrive physically at the church campus can be an ordeal, it is even more important to prepare your family to arrive spiritually with the church family.  Reading the letter as an individual or a family is a great way to prepare your heart.

It will take the average reader 7 minutes to read through the Book of Titus.

7 minutes!  That’s it!  It is amazing to see how long it takes to read each book of the Bible.  This is definitely one of the shorter reads, but you can find time for all of them.

You can read the Bible if you want to read the Bible.  You just have to make the time.  To read this book, it will only take you 7 minutes.

Find 7 minutes before Sunday and read through these truths and let’s get ready to study it together!
