As the school year comes to an end and the summer months arrive, we want you to plan to participate in Summer at the Creek events with your Rocky Creek family. We are excited to share some of the activities and events that we have planned for you and your family. This summer, we want to give you the opportunity to fellowship, serve, and grow with your church family. Take a look at what’s happening this summer:

Wednesdays at the Creek

Wednesday nights beginning July 3,  we will be offering a food option where families can purchase meals starting at 5:15PM. At 6:15PM, join us for an activity-based Bible study and fellowship. Look for registration links online to register your family for weekly meal options by the Sunday prior to the event.

Summer at the Creek Ministry Projects (August 7-14)

On Wednesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 14 you will have the opportunity to participate in service projects to prepare our campus for the return of fall. These projects will be revealed at the Summer at the Creek events throughout the summer.

Summer Mission Projects

There will be multiple opportunities to serve and minister this summer. Please check our website and follow us on social media for the up-to-date information about how you can serve your church, church family, and community. We have a mission team going to Boston and a team going to New York City in July. Would you pray for these teams?

Equip Workshops

Join us on Sunday nights this Summer for “Equip Workshops” at 6:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. Here’s a look at some of the topics we’ll be exploring this year:

Other Events

Mom Set Free Bible Study – This summer,  join the women of RC in their study of “Mom Set Free” by Jeannie Cunnion. In this study, you will focus on “embracing God’s role in your child’s life.” The cost for this study is $12 and the group will meet every Saturday from June 8-July 20 in the Multipurpose Room. Vacation Bible School – Throw on your camera strap and buckle your seatbelt –  Vacation Bible School registration is open! Do not let your child miss out on the highlight of the summer from June 17-21 from 6:30-8:30PM. This year’s VBS takes you on a wild adventure as you seek out exotic animals and find snapshots of real-life encounters with Jesus in Scripture. Register online today!

Student Crossroads Summer Camp – RC Students, mark your calendars for Crossroads Summer Camp at Anderson University from June 24-28. We are looking forward to this awesome week of worship, activities, and opportunity to grow closer to God and each other.

Preschool Playground Play Dates – Rocky Creek preschoolers and their parents are invited to join us at the playground on Saturday June 15, July 20, and August 10 from 10:30-11:30AM for the chance to fellowship with old friends and to make new friends. Mark your calendars and join us!

Summer Sizzlin’ – RC Women’s Summer Sizzlin’ pool party is on Thursday, July 18 at the home of Kristi Giddens from 6:30-8:00PM. Please come enjoy fellowship and dessert with our ladies of Rocky Creek. You are welcome to bring a friend. RSVP to Jackie Blanton at 864-616-7914 by July 14.

5th Grade Retreat Day – Rocky Creek 5th graders, join us on July 19 for a day of adventure to experience some challenges that only rising 6th graders are able to accomplish together as a team. We’ll leave RC at 8:00AM and spend the day at North Greenville University and return around 9:15PM. The cost is $20. You can register here.
