  • Discovering the meaning and reasoning behind God’s instructions increases our ability to keep them (119:33-34).
  • If I put my eyes on worthless things, I’ll end up in regretful places (119:35-37).
  • To avoid disgraceful endings, I must develop righteous longings (119:38-40).

Decide

  • We must delay gratification and prioritize salvation, but most people do just the opposite.
  • Salvation – Trust in Jesus for all the times you wouldn’t keep His commands.
  • Sanctification – Trust in Jesus for all the times you want to keep His commands.

  • Help me stay on the path of your commands, for I take pleasure in it (Psalm 119:35).
