Life's Biggest Questions- The Bible
People of all ages have questions about the Bible. In fact, it has been questioned, scrutinized, doubted, and even rejected. However, Christ-followers believe it to be the authoritative Word of God. For believers, God's Word provides truth, counsel, encouragement, wisdom, teaching, and instruction.
The Bible is the most widely circulated and bestselling book of all time.
It contains the Old Testament and New Testament. The Old Testament, written in Hebrew, is comprised of 39 books. The New Testament, written in Greek, includes 27 books. Further, it has been translated into more than twenty-four hundred languages. The Bible has its critics as well. There are a host of people in culture who simply try to discredit God's Word. For example, some say it is just a History book full of stories. Others note that it is a book of man-made virtues with lots of rules. Regardless of any critic, the Bible is God's Word. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."
