Reminders About Proverbs

  • Proverbs are more scattered than sequential.
  • Proverbs are more principles than promises.
  • Proverbs are more expressive than exhaustive.

How the Rich Deny God

  • Rich people are prone to deny God’s provision because they are busy boasting in their performance.
  • The more you accumulate, the less likely you are to acknowledge God.

How the Poor Dishonor God

  • If you believe you deserve more than you have, you might be tempted to justify taking it by any means necessary.
  • Honest, hard work honors God, but deceptive, lazy thievery dishonors Him.

How You Can Dignify God

  • You can experience financial ruin on either side of the coin by disregarding God.
  • It’s not about what you have, but what you do with it.
  • The level to which you invite God into your financial decisions reveals the depth of your spiritual maturity.
