While none of us know the time or the manner of our passing, we know we must be prepared. In an effort not to be a burden to others but to be a blessing to others at the time of our passing, you must make preparations now.
By wisdom, a house is built, and by understanding, it is established; By knowledge, the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might, For by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory. Wisdom is too high for a fool; in the gate, he does not open his mouth. -Proverbs 24:3-7
Preparing for your future should include three considerations:
1. Burden – Prepare for your death in such a way that you will not be a burden on anyone else.
2. Blessing – Consider the wisest way to bless trustworthy people who are closest to you.
3. Benefit – Include Great Commission giving to benefit worthwhile ministry efforts.
