Psalm 119:17-32 – We live in an increasingly strange world with combative critics and challenging circumstances. God has given us the Bible as an uplifting gift to strengthen our souls when we’re weary.

Discover

  • Prayerfully ask to behold God’s message within the Scriptures rather than what you want to see (119:17-18)
  • The more this world drifts from God’s standards, the less we feel at home within it (119:19-20).
  • Once you clarify your ultimate allegiance to the LORD, you don’t have to worry about what others say about you (119:21-23).
  • Scripture’s counsel is the most delightful advice there is (119:24).
  • There is life to be found in the Word when your life is spent from the world (119:25-28).
  • Challenges entice us to stray from the unwavering standard of Scripture (119:29-32).

Decide

  • Refuse to listen to the voice of your critics more than the Word of God.
  • Avoid justifying a free pass to sin when you have a frustrating set of circumstances.
  • Don’t accept weariness as normative when God’s Word is available
