Generous Givers & Willing Workers
With the commencement of the tabernacle’s construction, God called for givers and workers to mobilize for the task. Like the Israelites, we get to join God in His efforts if our lives are available to His invitations.

Generous Givers & Willing Workers
With the commencement of the tabernacle’s construction, God called for givers and workers to mobilize for the task. Like the Israelites, we get to join God in His efforts if our lives are available to His invitations.
Observations
- Moses reminded the people of Israel of God’s Word, before calling them to join in the task. (35:1-3)
- The posture of the heart and the consecration of resources were central to any act of giving. (35:4-29)
- With a task so large, the Spirit of God equipped Bezalel and Oholiab with skills and a desire to bring others along with them. (35:30-36:1)
- God’s people, using God’s resources, gave more than what was needed to advance God’s mission. (36:2-7)
- Sacrifice was required for God to dwell among His people. (36:8-35)
Applications
- While God leads people to give in different ways, He has called each person to give up everything to follow him.
- Failing to recognize God as the true giver of all things can make the subject of giving painful and reluctant.
- Regularly examining our giving habits is needed to ensure we remain submissive to the Spirit of God and aware of His blessings.
- Just as the people of Israel were called to join God in advancing His mission, we, too, are invited to engage in the same task.
No reserves. No retreats. No regrets.
