Mentoring 101
Mentoring will not happen by accident. You must be intentional in helping others follow you as you follow Jesus
2 Timothy 2:2
- and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).
Mentoring Concepts
- You know more than you think you do.
- You’ve experienced more than you can remember.
- The Word of God and the Spirit of God are more powerful than you give them credit.
Mentoring Steps
- Find someone within proximity to mentor.
- Establish the expectations and rhythms.
- Discover where they are and where they need to be.
- Use the Bible and your life to help instruct them.
